Director of Technical Services - CEQA
Location:San Francisco, CA
Salary: $85,000 - $120,000

Sequence is currently seeking an exceptional Environmental Director to lead all technical and project related services for a rapidly expanding portfolio of energy, transportation, water and land development related projects in California.

The ideal individual should have at least 10+ years experience working at the Senior or Principal level overseeing and managing CEQA / NEPA compliance and permitting projects related to renewable energy (wind, geothermal, and transmission lines), water and infrastructure development. Candidates must have exceptional client management, business development, and technical scientific skills to control a portfolio of projects through their life-cycles from lead development, project scoping / proposal through documentation and compliance closeout.

Responsibilities will include managing all state wide internal corporate operations for multiple offices, as well as, client specific duties revolving around new project scoping, scheduling and personnel management, budgeting, staff mentoring, scientific oversight, establishment of corporate statewide goals, objectives, developing the marketing strategy, and financial review of operations. This individual will have direct profit/loss responsibilities for the firms operations in California.

Position requires a degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Planning or related discipline. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and desire to work on challenging and diverse regulatory compliance, mitigation monitoring and permitting projects. Must have one area of exceptional technical expertise.

Position can be based on San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula or in Los Angeles, California. Offering excellent compensation and benefits package to highly qualified individuals.
