Position Responsibilities

The business development and sales manager will be in charge of managing the full sales life-cycle of Karbone’s advisory and consulting portfolio. Currently the portfolio includes a focused set of professional services for Climate Change, Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Emissions Reduction.

Karbone is looking to continue growing our solutions presence in the marketplace, enhanced by our strengths in carbon brokerage and environmental finance.

This is an exciting, high-profile, future-focused opportunity to play a key role at the heart of the Carbon Consulting industry. Business development and sales managers prospect and qualify client opportunities, manage proposal preparation, negotiate final terms and conditions, and represent the company in key energy & carbon consulting working groups as well.

Key Requirements:
• Degree qualified
• Minimum 3 years knowledge of relevant sales experience
• Specific experience around energy efficiency & management, carbon footprints, climate change, and renewable energy
• Understanding of general environmental issues, policies and opportunities is a must
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of client organizations and with key stakeholders
